Think Tank- Absence of Admins

Why not have the admins work in shifts? Instead of having several thousand of them playing at any given time in the afternoon, and then when the evening comes around there are suddenly none of them, have them work in shifts.

For example: (times are GMT)

MONDAY:
00:00 - 02:00 - Some dude in the USA
02:00 - 04:00 - Some dude in Canada
04:00 - 06:00 - Some guy in the USA

And that goes on and on until the Americans hit the hay, and the Brits/Europeans come out to say hi and do the admin duties; there can be a similar timetable for every day.

It will require an increase in the number of admins who can make a commitment to work at certain hours, but we know that life comes before gaming and hence we can accept that there will still be gaps in the timetable where certain things come up that mean admins can't play, but there will be less of them, and they will be shorter, with this more organised method.

Of course, admins who aren't on duty can still play in the server if they want to.

And it doesn't even have to be admins, I think moderators have similar powers.

The problem is... I wasn't given a contract when I became an Admin; most of us have our own lives or at least other games / servers they'd rather play.

You devise a fully woking system that said admin bot could use to function, then the idea shall be accepted.
