Re: The Serious RP Job System
Oh, by the way. These are all great ideas.
By the looks of it VM Serious RP will be AWESOME!

Player A makes a long post about several suggestions
Player B disagrees with player A's post
Player A sees the post and get annoyed and tries to defend his suggestions
Player B continues disagreeing
some more stuff continues between them
Player A has gotten bored with the server, and decides to have "some fun" before leaving (probably permanently).
Player A finds player B, and kills him a few times.
Player B is permanently killed.
Player A laughs. Now he continues "having fun" by killing other players, that he never met before.
Player C,D,E,F and G lost several of their lives, getting closer to permanent death.
Player A get's banned.
Player B create's a new character. Meanwhile player C,D,E,F and G are very annoyed, and afraid of losing their last live(s).
This is a very obvious example I am making here, and I strongly disagree with such a system for permanent death.
Instead, it would be good if permanent deaths would be like events, have to be planned out before, and approved by "judges" beforehand, kind of.
I think you know what I mean.

Well, as it is on the light RP, people dosnt give s shit if they die or not, as long as the holster thier weapon, which is pissing me off..
If you are a police man, as soon as you make a KO that maby came abit early, people whine like 2 year old's. but if you are trying to talk with them, they draw a deagle on 0,001 sec and blast your head off.
If perma death is implantet, I know that I would rather take the jail time, than die and loose one of my lifes.
Alex, i kinda agree with what you write, but make it up-side down. If you think it was an unfair kill(s) report it on the forum, and then the admins can check the logs, and if they see a person kills 8 people on 5 minutes, they should give lives back, rather than have a judge to decide if evry kill counts or not.

Do the kirby Dance!
There should be a Chief of Medicine rank for the police, a doctor that they could keep in police zones and could trust.
...they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire...
Two words.
kill.
limit.
I don't like limits such as that, instead ban violators.
But I don't support automatic permanent death either, instead make it planned and authorized by admins/judges whatever.

If necessary we can add lives back based on individual circumstances.
At the point 'Player A' goes on a killing spree, common sense would dictate avoiding him/leaving the server until it has been resolved.
If you keep running back/are ******** enough to stick around you deserve all the perma-death you can handle.
Will there be some kind of court or other judging system?
Alexander Godis
I'd kinda like to see that happening...
we are like twigs, alone we can easily be broken but together we are like a mighty fagot

Might be something that could be worked in.
The arrest system will be manual; this means no warrants or teleporting arrest baton. You will be escorted to jail (tied up) after commiting an offence, you may be dragged there unconscious if you resist (which would be a stupid thing to do). You will be in jail for as long as the highest ranking Official currently on the server sees fit.
Under some circumstances you may not even leave...
I can't see why a judgement system couldn't be implemented as a more formal way of administering a sentance.
