Mass Effect 2

As some of you who played Mass Effect 1, they have officially announced that the Mass Effect 2 on PC has an expected release date on Q1 2010.

yes i just beat the game now im gona beat side quests...

Vanguard level 31, beat him under 40 seconds, he keeps jumping like a ******** frog xD

This game was the best, I beat him in a whole 5 minutes! Eat it haha. I was a lvl 20 I think, was really hard
 But the trailer to part two seems pretty cool, hope they add a new style of gameplay. Takes way to long to learn the controls 

I've read a lot about mass effect 2. Yes the first one was indeed awesome, apparently mass effect 2 scans your save game for the first game and then determines whether or not certain people are alive such as Wrex. The plot of the new game also looks very decision based. And Shephard is NOT dead.

of course Shephard isn't dead... he's the main protagonist, if he were dead there would be no story...

i love that they're gonna scan your old save, I hate having to start a sequel and make none of it make sense like "hey... i killed you ! why are you still alive"

I heard somewhere that there may be a point where Shephard COULD die but this makes little sense to me unless you dont actually play as him ^^

Louzy speculations, It's like on Half Life 2 Episode 2. If Alyx died, the whole game would loose it's charm.
I guess they want to make a similar situation in Mass Effect 2 xD

haha but Eli did die. and Alyx was mortally injured so... maybe something similar?

all i know is that if a very important character dies the game has to end sometime soon or something else will take its place...

I've heard of things when they make several different outcomes/endings so that what REALLY happens is carefully hidden... especially with something which is mainly good because of it's story.
