Big red Errors

Hi, I'm relatively new to the Applejack RP on Gmod, still haven't got a donation together, not much money and such.

I just need a little help.
It seems that just about every prop that I don't put down myself shows up as a large 3D error message that floats in mid air. I was just wondering if I could sort this out myself with a downloadable patch or something similar. I tried asking online but I've had trouble getting answers. Besides, forums are always better for this kind of thing. So...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Vele

Re: Big red Errors

The easiest way to get it is from www.glua.net.

Download the PHX 3 package found here:

http://glua.h4xmb.org/~glua/svn/phx.zip

Extract this to your addons folder inside your garrysmod folder, restart garrysmod, profit. It is also important that you have updated CSS and Half Life 2 content installed, as that may be the cause of some errors.

Incorrect.

Glua.net compile a zipped file with all the current svn content at regular intervalls (every 4 hours) for various model packs. Do your research before making such accusations mister. If you want it simple, go for what i posted.

If you want content that is up to date to the exact second then use the SVN. Its not necessary, however, as the server isn't updated with the SVN that often.

Re: Big red Errors

My accusations can be proved note the size of the zip file from glua is 130mb yet the offical svn version when zipped is about 300mb.

Re: Big red Errors

You of all people should know there are different levels of compressions.

I'll not reply after this, so if you wish to post i will let you continue to believe you are correct, because no amount of proof is going to change your mind now is it.

After i accidentally deleted my SVN'd version of PHX, I downloaded the glua.net version, and even if it does have some pointless additions cut out, I have never seen an error on the server and it has more content than my previous SVN version, which was done a couple of months ago.

Do whats easiest for you Leeham.

Re: Big red Errors

I did consider different compression levels and the results still emphasis my point earlier that lack bits out. You are possibly true with the fact they may be items not added to the spawn lists, therefore not used that much. But nevertheless my original point still stands.

Re: Big red Errors

I'm not sure what you are on about, but I do know that the link Shepsie gave me worked perfectly... I haven't seen any error icons since anyway, and it helped with some of my other games.

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing though...
