this is really freking weird, my steam does not open! I click on it and I see the loading sign for about 1/4th of a second and than nothing happens. I use windows vista and it was working yesterday.
oh yeah I installed sims 3 and the EA downloader thing... something must be interfering

Lol, i don't know how to fix this, il just ask some questions to help people who know what their doing.

Uninstall the sims 3 and the EA download manager then retry.
Post your results and I will try and help you isolate the issue.
this is weird... trying to uninstall EA download manager but there's no delete option???
