2 ideas to help the police.

*cop searching a house*
"sir i have a warrant to search your house for contr- *Owner pulls out a shotgun in a split second and blasts the cop's head off*

This happens to me as a cop, so i think drawing a weapon should take 3~5 seconds and more important, there must be some way to notice that someone is unholstering a gun.
That way a cop can react by stunning/shooting the suspect.

2nd idea
impounding cars!
Most people just leave their car on the middle of the road and when there are 50 people it turns into chaos.
I think it should work the same as requesting a warrant and the mayor should aprove of the impounding, that way you prevent abuse.
Owners should be able to pick their cars up at the nexus garage (for a small fee?)

Impounding cars with a fee will be abused alot. I would suggest not adding that,.

Expanding on your intellegent 1st idea:

Maybe something could be added that is similar to the rope messages, for instance;

*** Deamie starts pulling a gun out of his back-pocket.

That way it could be more noticeable giving people time to react.

Second idea is genius, I don't need to add anything to it.

I think cops should be able to simply remote pickup the car for the other person if you do some sort of command /impound (player)

yes I can see it being abused but not anymore than arrests and the like...

because I'm just sick of people leaving cars in the road, it would look like this

/impound player

cop takes out his stun baton, right clicks and the car dissapears to the owners inventory (the owner is than charged 150$ fine or whatever...)

this is of course abusable but not much more than arrest or searches.
