Thread: servers are safe again?

I read somewhere that the last update in the gmod server (the one with the achievements) also fixed the exploit that could steal gamemodes and crash servers

I am not 100% sure but I believe that servers are safe now...

I also read this. However I think along with other people, we should stay down, until we are 100% sure that this exploit is fixed. Here is the facepunch thread:

If the exploit is fixed, I wish to say thank you to those involved. [probly wont ever reach them but oh well]

Currently Gmod tower is under attack from STEAM_0:1:11468988

Can't ventmob just buy patent on applejack and it's content, and the sue the person that uploads it or what ever?


Edit: If you google "STEAM_0:1:11468988" it seems like he was banned from alot of the more known gmod servers.

Maney servers have re-opened since HL2 engine was updated, i'm not sure if it fixed the problem.

And i will ask again: Will it extend out donation period? , as it seems like it will take some time ..

Yeah it seems most servers are starting up again, maybe its not as serious as first thought.
