Recording program

I'm looking for a good recording program so I could record some situtations at VentMob (eg. for ban requests and some fun stuff).

I've before used Fraps but it seems to make the videos damn large sized.

Anyone know any better program than Fraps?

Gamecam is good but you need to run steam in offline mode.

I really don't know it says it can't work with steam community on.

I tried GameCam, but it seemed not to work. It was giving error about some program which came with the GameCam installation and I installed it.

I downloaded the Fraps 3.0.3 now, and I guess I'll have to bare with it.
I couldn't find any better (working) program.

Use the garrysmod built in recording system. Go in consol (press ` ingame) and type Record Name. Where the "Name" is thats where the name of the recording goes. Then go to filefront.com and upload the video to the site. Then post the link in your ban request. To watch the demo just go in consol in the main menu and type playdemo Demoname. Where "Demoname" is you type the name of the demo.

You can find your demo in the second garrysmod folder.

You got a few viable options,
1: FRAPS (I see that you are using it, and it sucks, but it still works.).
2: WeGame, it's a great free alternative, and I heard you can even upload directly to YouTube, two options of recording, HD and Standard. (I use this for random ass shit, works great!)
3: Source Recorder? (Demos), Works just fine, go ingame, hit your dev console key (~) and type "record filename" and it'll start recording.
